Surfase Records continues its output of monthly digital releases by introducing the first instalment of Prototypes - a set of weighty, sought-after dubstep productions by label owner, RDG, guaranteed to cause floor commotion in the right hands.

The Danish bass veteran opens his four-tracker with a relentless technoid 70bpm roller, well wrapped in firm kicks, off-beat claps, soothing bass wonks and atmosphere. 08 Payback is followed by Robo Rider, which’ll have the heads reminisce of earlier RDG releases on Kraken and Biscuit Factory, as his signature sounding robot is let out of the cage to dictate clenching jaws and wavey dance manoeuvres.

Tantra-inducing Kneeless marches further on into darkness in the vein of 08 Payback before outer space transmission, Radar Sense, rounds off the EP on a mind bending tip with enough delayed percussion and sonar bass range to malfunction any scanners nearby.
